FALSE IDOLS is a collaboration between Ronny Munroe (ex-Metal Church, ex-Vicious Rumors, Munroe's Thunder and CAVE) and Johan de Jager (ex-Voice of Destruction, ex-Arcana XXII, Overlord and Hybris). Together they deliver epic, traditional and melodic heavy metal.
It all started when Johan de Jager composed some tracks in 2023 and was looking for a suitable singer to complement the musical style. A singer was quickly found when Ronny agreed to participate as a guest singer on the songs. This resulted in the FALSE IDOLS - "Initiation" EP.
The majority of the recording was completed in 2023, and mixing and mastering took until early 2024.
