FALSE IDOLS is an exciting new project formed by the collaboration of Ronny Munroe (ex-Metal Church, ex-Vicious Rumors, Munroe's Thunder, CAVE) and Johan de Jager (ex-Voice of Destruction, ex-Arcana XXII, Overlord, Hybris). These two experienced musicians deliver a powerful blend of epic heavy metal with a clear focus on traditional, melodic sounds.

The story of FALSE IDOLS began in 2023, when Johan de Jager composed some tracks and was looking for a singer who would perfectly complement the musical style. Fortunately, he quickly found the right partner: Ronny Munroe , who appeared as a guest vocalist on the songs. This collaboration led to the creation of the "Initiation" mini-LP, a first glimpse of what was to come.

🎶 The mini-LP was largely recorded in 2023 , and mixing and mastering were completed by early 2024.

“Initiation” promises an intense heavy metal experience that will not only delight fans of the bands mentioned, but will also captivate all lovers of melodic and powerful metal.
